Product Overview

The Model 544D Audio Interface presents a highly efficient means of connecting two analog line-level audio channels to and from applications that employ Dante® audio-over-Ethernet media networking technology. Two Model 544D devices can establish bidirectional signal paths, offering one-to-one connectivity over a regular local area network (LAN). A standalone Model 544D unit can allow Dante-enabled products to interface with analog input and output signals, and it also facilitates the transport of status signals or contact closures between Model 544D units and other compatible devices. Each Model 544D features two general-purpose inputs (GPI) and two general-purpose outputs (GPO). Furthermore, the unit can generate sine-wave signals at a frequency of 1 kHz, 18 kHz, or 20 kHz, which can be output through the analog line-level and Dante digital interface channels.
