A 19-watt Class D amplifier drives a 3/4" soft-dome tweeter and 4-inch woofer to deliver clean powerful full-range audio. With a simple flick of a switch, you can transition between DJ mode and Production mode. The DM-40D's internal DSP expertly tailors the output for either application. This eliminates the need to choose between monitors dedicated to DJing or production, the DM-40s handle both tasks with ease. RCA and mini-jack terminals are included to facilitate the connection of DJ controllers, mixers, laptops, or soundcards. And if you compare using your favorite headphones, there's a headphone output with a dedicated volume knob conveniently located on the front panel.
