O`Connor C1226-0001 120EXE Fluid Head Package

This Extended Capacity 120EXe Fluid Head Package (Part No. C1226-001) supports extra-large payloads, with this package also including both a pan handle and pan handle extension to further capitalize on this fluid heads functionality. With the smooth OConnor feel and infinitely adjustable control, this patented head is the only product on the market to balance the huge capacity range of 30 – 240 lbs (14 – 109 kg).

The OConnor 120EXe encoded fluid head is designed to provide high-precision pan and tilt position information for cinema quality visual effects production for feature films and commercials. Such positioning information is also critical for optimizing 3D productions in post production. The 120EXe provides output pan and tilt position information via an external 19 pin Fischer connector.

A companion encoder box is available as an option for the 120EXe. This allows high resolution pan and tilt data of 1.8 million counts per revolution to be output from the head, making it suitable for film and HD formats. When the 120EXe is coupled with a 3rd party data logger, it instantly becomes a powerful camera motion capture system for use in post production. When used with a pre-viz system, it also allows real-time previsualisation of live action and CG compositing on set.
