DAS ACTION-508A 8" 360W Active 2-Way Loudspeaker with Rotatable Horn

The ACTION-508A—part of the ACTION Series of loudspeakers from DAS Audio—is an unrivaled choice when compact size and weight are what matters. It's a passive loudspeaker system that's engineered to deliver a highly versatile audio solution, from fixed installations to the popular portable PA application. It features a an onboard integrated mixer, and its rotatable horn with 90º x 60º dispersion, means this versatile enclosure can be employed horizontally within a fixed installation, as a stage monitor, or even as front-fill loudspeaker.

All systems are developed under a single DAS philosophy: to deliver the highest possible audio quality in terms of both materials and overall system design. In this series, DAS uses the same birch plywood as their touring systems, for a tight, natural and warm sound not found anywhere else on the market. The series' full range of active tops is complete with 2 balanced XLR inputs for mic and line, an additional 3.5mm mini jack input, and a powerCON® connection.

Its 720 W peak Class D amplifier together with an 8” transducer (8GV) and the MI-34 compression driver (1.5cm Ø) offer remarkable efficiency, both in power consumption and audio power: 122 dB SPL (sound pressure levels). The DAScontrol™ interface implements a high-range 24-bit DSP and rear LCD screen to provide for preset selection, gain control, EQ modes, delay and signal source mix.
