The KIT-401 represents a high-performance auto-switcher/scaler kit meticulously engineered for the transmission of 4K HDMI™ and VGA signals via extended HDBaseT technology. This comprehensive kit consists of two vital components: the KIT-401T wall-plate transmitter/switcher and the KIT-400R receiver/scaler.

In this setup, the KIT-401T transmitter serves to convert the user-selected input signal into an HDBaseT signal, meticulously prepared for transmission. On the other end of the system, the KIT-400R receiver takes charge, receiving the HDBaseT signal and seamlessly converting it into HDMI output. The receiver further demonstrates its technical prowess by ensuring optimal upscaling or downscaling to match the native resolution of the HDMI monitor. The KIT-401 is designed to facilitate extended video signal transmission, supporting distances of up to 40 meters (130 feet) over CAT copper cables. This impressive transmission capability maintains signal integrity at 4K@60Hz (4:2:0) 24bpp video resolution and extends even further reach for lower HD video resolutions.
