The Talon G2 H.264 Decoder, engineered by Osprey Video, is a compact and portable solution specifically tailored for H.264 video decoding. It accommodates the input of up to four RTP (unicast) or UDP (multicast) streams via a single GigE Ethernet input. Subsequently, the Talon G2 decodes these streams, utilizing its HDMI and SDI ports for display output. This decoder adeptly manages resolutions reaching 1080p60 and extends its capabilities to play .TS files from an external flash drive via its USB 2.0 port. Noteworthy features encompass various Picture-in-Picture (PiP) options and a user-friendly touch display/control panel. Furthermore, the SDI output supports EIA-608 and EIA-708 CC (closed captioning).
