Using multi-layer samples recorded in world-class studios, the 50X delivers rich, complex sound with each hit. Fused with Roland's sophisticated behavior modeling, the sonic result allows you to play more naturally as the tones respond to your expression, just like an acoustic kit. It's all there, from subtle ghost notes and detailed articulations to your loudest, most intense playing. Multi-sensor detection in the snare, hi-hat, and ride follows your every move, seamlessly translating your technique from subtle to aggressive. From full head, cross stick, and rim shot on the snare to touch sensitivity, tonal variation, and open/closed resolution on the hi-hat. Play your way. The TD-50K2 will follow. Multi-ply mesh heads on the snare and toms offer a realistic playing experience with natural stick resistance and rebound, so you don't have to modify your playing. The included BT-1 trigger pad offers another convenient way to trigger sounds from the TD-50X and even provides control over other functions like starting/stopping backing tracks, loops, and more. And when you sink your pedal into the KD-140 kick, the enlarged drum head and solid metal frame respond with a natural full-kick feel so you can play with abandon. The kit's compact footprint means you can bring that full-kit sound with you wherever you want, and since it's electric, the TD-50K2-K is ideal for silent stage use in house of worship or theater.
