MODARTT—Models and Data for Arts and Technology—presents the C. Bechstein Digital Grand concert piano, brought to you by Pianoteq. A physically-modelled virtual instrument, it's authorized by C. Bechstein and is now available as an instrument pack specifically designed for Pianoteq 6.

Originally derived from a C. Bechstein D 282 concert grand piano, it's been thoughtfully and carefully captured by the acclaimed Teldex Recording studio in Berlin. The Pianoteq model faithfully reproduces the exceptionally brilliant and powerful sound of the C. Bechstein D 282 with its singing, richly-colored voice, suitable—and desirable—for many different music genres.

Claude Debussy once said: "Piano music should only be written for the Bechstein". Franz Liszt, Edvard Grieg, Alexander Scriabin, Maurice Ravel and Béla Bartók also composed on Bechstein pianos. Bechstein pianos have also featured in legendary recordings by many world-renowned musicians, including The Beatles, Queen, Bob Dylan, and Elton John.
