Product Overview

Delivering superior fidelity and a wealth of input and output options, RME's ADI-2 Pro FSR Black Edition was created for those who demand the highest level of performance from every stage of the analog to digital journey and back.

With converters so clean that use as a front-end device for system measurement is recommended, RME's attention to detail is evident. A 10-layer custom copper circuit board separately, powered headphone outputs, and ultra-low noise internal power supply stages ensure a stunning signal to noise ratio and almost non-existent levels of harmonic distortion. A pair of premium DACs (digital audio converters) that support a 786kHz sample rate feed separate stereo outputs with pristine audio that captures the true depth and character of the original source. A high-quality sample rate converter that can be used on the AES or SPDIF input combined with SteadyClock III technology ensures perfect jitter reduction and stable clocking, no matter if internal or external clocks are used. You'll get out what you put in, no surprises.

A high-resolution front-panel display gives you access to controls like parametric EQ, adjustable loudness filters, selectable converter filters, and more as well as system performance messages. Pro features including mid/side (M/S) microphone processing and a 30-band spectral analyzer are also accessible through the HR display, how deep do you want to go?

All of this precision and doesn't come at the expense of versatility. XLR/TRS combo jacks, as well as an optical connection, are provided for signal input. Balanced and unbalanced outputs are provided on XLR and TS (tip sleeve) jacks, with additional support for RCA SPDIF and AES I/O on an included breakout cable.

With this feature set, the ADI-2 Pro can be used as a 2-channel reference converter, a 6 in / 8 out recording interface, a system measurement device, or a high-end headphone amplifier.

Your audio has to be the best, make sure it goes through the ADI-2 Pro.
