The NMX-ENC-N2315-WP Decor Style Wallplate Encoder from AMX is part of the N2300 Series and used inconjunction with N2322 Series Decoders for transmission of HDMI or analog video over Ethernet. All Encoders and Decoders of the N2300 Series feature balanced audio, HDMI video connection, and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). The N2322 Decoder supports output scaling and limited output downscaling options. The series is also easy to set up, requiring just a single encoder at the source and decoder at the display to effectively network AV. Customers can deploy a single encoder/decoder solution using existing infrastructure and grow to larger-scale distribution models with the same versatile product line.

This AV encoder installs into any standard US 2-gang box and distributes up to 4K resolution video over gigabit networks with imperceptible latency. The NMX-ENC-N2315-WP gives educators and presenters convenient access to HDMI, VGA, and audio inputs right from the lectern, floor box, or wall, making it easier than ever to present stunning high-resolution content in classroom settings.

Any source can be sent to one or more displays by routing through layer-2 / layer-3 switches utilizing standard Cat5e cable. The NMX-ENC-N2315 includes standard features like input scaling, bi-directional serial, IR, embedded 7.1 audio, and KVM-over-IP extension. The N2300 Series provides a flexible,m feature-rich, and simple-to-deploy Networked AV solution that can be used in 4K applications with resolutions up to 4096x2160, with support for HDCP 2.2. Utilizing JPEG2000 encoding, the N2315-WP delivers video with latency so low it supports extremely sensitive applications like live action.
