A professional product delivering the audio quality and reliability required by 24-hour on-air and commercial applications, the Model 5418 features eight female 3-pin XLR front-panel mic/line audio inputs with adjustable gain, P48 phantom power, and high-pass filter functions. The inputs can be configured locally by using pushbutton switches and an OLED display or, alternatively, with the STcontroller software application that allows remote control of the input parameters. The analog mic/line input audio signals are converted to 24-bit PCM digital and transported via the Dante interface.

Eight digital audio signals can be routed to the Model 5418 via the Dante interface by using the Dante Controller software application. The digital signals are converted to analog and sent to a 25-pin female D-subminiature output connector as eight balanced line-level analog signals.

The monitor section allows the user to select any input or output signal (or signal pair) for monitoring with the stereo headphone output. Selected analog outputs can be configured to provide a monitoring signal for connection to amplified loudspeakers. The OLED display has level metering functions that provide visual monitoring of the input or output audio signals.
