Recreate the exact tone of one one of the industry's most coveted discrete EQs with the FG-A Vintage American Equalizer from Slate Digital. Classic proportional Q curves and fat saturation add the sweetness you crave to your tracks. Modeled after a fixed frequency and gain three band EQ, FG-A doubles up the mid band as a four band EQ. Designed for unparalleled levels of control, you have the option to make the EQ continuous by clicking a modifier key while adjusting the gain or frequency. Boasting a recreation of the famous EQ opamp and transformer characteristics, vintage color and vibe pop through these components for a fat, warm and slightly saturated sound. For a more surgical and clean sound, the nonlinear behavior can be bypassed on the EQ.
