Noah Bells is a sampled collection of twenty-one authentic Indian Khadki in various sizes and pitches that span the tonal range, from deep, resonant notes to brittle high ones. Smelted from simple mixtures of copper and other metals, the bells reflect a golden or bronze hue and range in size from two feet to less than an inch in diameter. The metals deliver a dark, raspy tone with a heavy low and mid-range body and complex harmonic structure. Recorded at multiple velocities with round-robin variations, the Noah Bells presents a naturally dynamic and truly playable instrument. The samples were recorded up close in wide stereo and from afar in a large open cathedral sanctuary, giving you tonal and atmospheric variations to choose from and blend. The UI features sound-shaping controls like swell, attack, release, tuning, vibrato, articulation selection, an optional sub-synth waveform module for tonal reinforcement, and a complete step-sequencing arpeggiator system.
