Created for live and studio applications, Axis Proton is a Waves-designed Windows-based computer engineered with audio processing in mind. The half-rack 1U host features an Intel® Celeron J4125 processor with 8 GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage optimized for live applications with up to 32 stereo channels. 5 USB 3.0 ports, 4 USB 2.0 ports, 3 HDMI ports, one network port, and SoundGrid connectivity allow the ProtonDuo to act as the beating heart of a SoundGrid system. Proton Duo also integrates the Waves Proton SoundGrid server to give you even more power for all your processing needs. An Intel Celeron processor adds an additional 4GB of RAM (for 12GB total) and delivers latency as low as 0.8ms at 48 kHz. Proton SoundGrid will afford you the luxury of adding the compressors, EQs, reverbs, and other plugins you need without being limited to what your computer can handle.
