Audio-Technica AT4049b Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone

The AT4049b from Audio-Technica is a versatile microphone that you can confidently employ in professional recording and critical Broadcast applications, plus a wide range of other professional miking applications as well. It features direct-coupled balanced outputs for clean signals in high-output conditions, plus is totally free of the distortion associated with conventional transformer-coupled outputs. Its rapid transient response contributes to its open and transparent audio reproduction of even the most difficult-to-capture instruments. It's fully RoHS-compliant – free from all substances specified within the EU directive on the reduction of hazardous substances (RoHS).

This quality-built microphone is made up of two (2) modular subassemblies — the AT4049b-EL omnidirectional head capsule and the AT4900b-48 body (both available separately as well). Additional available interchangeable capsules are: the AT4051b-EL cardioid capsule and the AT4053b-EL hypercardioid capsule (both sold separately).
