Atlas IED AA240G 6-Channel Mixer Amplifier, 240W

The 6-input 240 watt AA240G from Atlas is a multi-zone mixer amplifier designed for paging, background music (BGM), and applications where music on hold (MOH) plus paging is required. The AA240G can run 4 or 8 Ohm speakers or 25/70/100V lines, making it ideal for retrofitting as well as new installs.

Installers will appreciate the input selection which includes 4 mic/line, and 2 unbalanced stereo line inputs that will accommodate paging microphones, CD players, and digital music receivers. The balanced mic/line inputs are accessed via euroblock connectors, featuring phantom power per mic for use with condenser microphones, while the stereo line ins are on RCA jacks. A set of tape outputs is also provided on RCA jacks for connection to external recording devices.

The AA240G provides for remote volume control of the master or music channel by adding an optional wall plate connected to the VCA terminals. This feature is handy for music level adjustments from a central location and can also be assigned to the entire amplifier. VOX muting is also included allowing a signal on input one to mute one of the other channels such as the music during an announcement.

External gear like EQs or limiters can be hooked up via the preamp out / power amp in terminals providing greater flexibility and control. A special low cut filter on the amp makes it possible to use paging horns like the APX40TN or AP-15T with the AA240G.
