The CGN341-E is a Discreet Acoustics Modular Plus (DAM+) tabletop microphone set with the components needed to cover a wide variety of applications. Featuring the CK41 Reference Cardioid Condenser capsule, the set also includes the W40 M windscreen, GN30 M Reference DAM+ series gooseneck module, and the PAE M Reference phantom power module.

The CK41 capsule has a wide cardioid polar pattern and a studio quality frequency response optimized for speech. It is well suited for inexperienced or very lively speakers and situations where more than one person uses the microphone in turn.

The whole set is extremely slim, but rugged, and incorporates an LED ring that indicates whether the phantom power is on or off. The PAE M phantom power module has a gold-plated XLR connector and a 250 Hz bass roll-off to minimize structure-borne noise.
