Sony's ILME-FX3 is a powerful yet compact full-frame Cinema Line Camera that's designed for ease of use while delivering professional results. The included XLR handle makes it easy to carry too!

The full-frame image sensor and unique light-gathering techniques let you capture clear useable images no matter the lighting. You can expand the ISO sensitivity for movies from 80–102400 up to 409600. A wide dynamic range captures every nuance, indoors, outdoors, from morning to evening, and leaves room for unparalleled freedom in color grading.

16-bit RAW output4 is available over HDMI connection to compatible external recorders even as XAVC HS 4K, XAVC S 4K, or XAVC S-I 4K and proxy files are simultaneously captured in the camera. The RAW video output is 4264 x 2408 [16:9] resolution, exceeding DCI-4K resolution5, perfect for demanding post-production workflows.

The FX3's wide-area AF with intelligent tracking delivers precise focusing even when shooting at a shallow depth of field with high frame rates of 120p in 4K (QFHD)3. Plus, Real-time Eye AF, powered by Sony's unique AI-based subject recognition algorithms, ensures precise focus on the face and eyes.

An external handle that connects via Multi Interface Shoe is included with a pair of full-size XLR combo jacks for your choice of professional microphones. Of course, there's a convenient built-in microphone in case you have to capture on the quick. Three recording formats can be selected, including 24-bit 4-channel. Digital audio recording is also possible by attaching a digital microphone such as the ECM-B1M even when the handle is not used.
