The versatile and easy-to-use alkaline powered DLR 400 ALK Digi-Wave wireless receiver provides an economical way to bring inclusive listening to training, presentations, tours, education, healthcare facilities, and more. The receiver is designed for use with a Digi-Wave 400 system (sold separately) and employs the same DSS frequency-hopping technology found in cell phones to deliver an interference-free and highly secure method of communication. Using DSS, the receiver transmits in the 2.4 GHz ISM band rapidly and randomly switching frequencies resulting in a signal that dodges common wireless anomalies and makes it extremely difficult for third parties to listen in. The elegant front panel features four buttons for volume and listening group selection and one for power (requires 2 AAA bateries), with an LCD screen for viewing settings and status. The unit provides a single 3.5mm output for headphones, earphones, or a neckloop (all sold separately) and is a listen-only device that must be used as part of a larger system. Systems support up to six simultaneous talkers and unlimited listeners with configurability for two-way or one-way communication to fit the application.
