Solid State Logic SIX-CHANNEL-STRIP 500 Series Mini Channel Strip

Infused with a wide gain range, ultra-low noise, and SSL's SuperAnaloge design, the Six Channel Strip brings classic processing and additional I/O to your current setup.

The Six Channel Strip is a 500 series unit complete with an SSL SuperAnalogue preamp, switchable EQ, and "one-knob" compressor. A front panel switch provides for line or mic (Hi-Z) input so you can use the Six for microphones or direct instrument recording without the need for a direct (DI) box.

The EQ section features a high/low two-band design with each band being independently switchable between shelving or bell curve mode. The bell curves are centered at 5KHz and 200Hz respectively providing more focused control when needed.

SSL compression is the stuff of legends, and 1000 gold records. The "one-knob" compressor employs deceptively simple controls to give you the sound you want. Set the threshold where compression begins, the three LED meter tells you the amount of gain reduction, and from there the automatic make-up gain takes over, maintaining the signal level across the full range of threshold settings.
