Grommes-Precision SLS-HW-PLUS 30 amp Speaker Line Lighting Protection

The Sentinal Lightning Suppressor (SLS) series includes three products: SLS, SLS-HW, and SLS-HW+. These devices provide overvoltage and overcurrent protection for speaker lines. The SLS is a 10 amp device, the SLS-HW is a 20 amp device, and the SLS-HW+ is a 30 amp device. They effectively prevent induction-induced lightning damage to electronic equipment connected to speaker lines. The SLS clamps transient voltage when the current exceeds its switching current and resets when the current falls below the holding current. The SLS series offers triple protection: Primary & Secondary, Series, and Shunt.
