Add the analog character of an SSL 4000E channel strip to your DAW with the Waves SSL EV2 Channel. Complete with the console's signature preamps and '02' Brown EQ, the EV2 will deliver the warmth and depth that identifies the 4000E series.

The SSL EV2 Channel features both the brown EQ and the 242 Black Knob EQ options so you can choose per application. Use the Black Knob for a clean punchy character and the Brown when you want that rich classic SSL analog grit. The preamps have been modeled to retain the harmonic distortion of the actual console. The harder you push them, the more aggressive the drive becomes.

SSL dynamics sound like no other and the EV2 sounds like an SSL. You get a soft-knee compressor/limiter and a gate/expander with pre and post-EQ placement options. Makeup gain is applied automatically, as it was on the original console.

SSL EV2 comes loaded with over 600 presets – including hundreds of presets by Grammy®-winning producers and mix engineers: Jacquire King, Stuart White, Joe Barresi, Lu Diaz, Dave Pensado, Rich Costey, Jack Joseph Puig, and many more.
