Interactive Technologies SM-SBUS-5W 5-Wire Station Bus Smart Module

Smart modules enhance the functionality and connectivity of specific CueServer 3 models by simply plugging them into an available module slot.

Integrate SM-SBUS-5W modules to establish connectivity with 5-Wire CueStation button stations like Mystique or Ultra stations. Moreover, the SM-SBUS-5W module offers compatibility with alternate protocols such as DMX and RS-485 serial. In DMX mode, it facilitates communication with DMX-based lighting fixtures, while in RS-485 mode, it enables communication via RS-485 serial protocols.

Featuring data isolation and protection mechanisms, the SM-SBUS-5W module safeguards against potential failures triggered by ground loops, voltage mismatches, power surges, or electrostatic events. Additionally, the module furnishes software-controlled and over-current protected DC power output for the connected stations.

With a user-selectable termination switch, the module can support up to two home runs of stations, providing flexibility in configuration. Furthermore, an LED indicator on the module offers quick visual feedback on operational status.
