The DSR4 digital receiver delivers top-tier RF and audio performance in a compact design, perfect for field and location production. Versatile features include front panel settings with tactile buttons and a color LCD interface, making it ideal for portable bag systems and sound carts. The built-in RF spectrum analyzer and SmartTune help mitigate interference in congested RF environments. Designed to fit the Super-Slot ecosystem, the DSR4 combines field-proven features honed over years of motion picture and television production experience. It offers a lightweight, four-channel receiver powered by external DC, with an IR port for data transfer between units. The machined aluminum housing with a hard-anodized finish and laser-etched markings ensures durability. The receiver's front-end RF gain stages provide low-noise amplification, excellent sensitivity, and minimal susceptibility to intermodulation and de-sensitization. It offers two diversity options for flexibility, 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio, AES 256-bit encryption with four key policies, high IP3 performance of +15 dBm, analog and AES3 digital audio outputs, and external DC powering options. It also includes a USB input for firmware updates and data transfer and integrates fully with Sound Devices 8-Series mixer/recorders with v1.09 firmware and 8-Series v9.30.
