The KTN-50-EX is an expanded performance model of the KTN-50-3 50-watt 1x12 combo engineered with new Tube Logic technology to deliver superior sound, feel, and response, including an expressive Pushed amp character that hits the sweet spot just before full break up. Add to that an upgraded speaker, line out, stereo expand functions, and GA-FC/GA-FC EX Foot Controller support and you've got a an amp with the perfect balance of punch and portability that's equally at home on stage, in the studio, or the woodshed. Since its debut in 2016, the BOSS Katana series has become a standard for guitarists, offering professional, tube-inspired sound with modern features like onboard effects, one-touch memory recall, and deep customization. The Gen 3 lineup extends that versatility with enhanced amp characters, including the new Pushed character for touch-responsive gain complete with sag and push-back. It feels real! Integrated Power Control functions like a power soak, allowing cranked-amp tones at any volume without tonal compromise. The Katana Gen 3 includes five effect categories, each with three variations, and the refreshed BOSS Tone Studio provides further customization with 60 effect types and an intuitive remote editing workflow. With the optional Bluetooth Audio MIDI Dual Adapter, you can wirelessly edit sounds via smartphone. The Katana-50 Gen 3 also features comprehensive connectivity options, including USB-C for recording and IR-based cabinet sound for direct tone with customizable settings in the BOSS Tone Studio.
