The VAD716 ushers in a new era of electronic drumming built on the legacy of the venerable V-Drums family. The new flagship kit features a groundbreaking new sound module, cutting-edge pads, and advanced creative tools to give you more options and a more engaging experience. With the V71 module, you can play two ways: access a core sound library co-created with Drum Workshop (DW) or tap into DW Soundworks software for seamless computer-based drumming. Expansion is easy thanks to built-in wireless connectivity and Roland Cloud Connect, you can instantly expand your sound with a growing library of V-Drums Instrument Expansions, Kit Packs, and more, all from your smartphone.
The VAD716 takes this powerful platform and integrates it into a flagship V-Drums Acoustic Design kit, featuring full-size wood shells and premium chrome hardware. The PD-14DSX digital snare leads the charge with refined sensing, a snare throw-off lever, and an adjustable tension knob for acoustic-style playability. The 22-inch KD-22 delivers authentic kick performance with a full-depth wood shell and innovative drumhead-mounted sensor. This six-piece kit also includes two rack toms, two floor toms, digital hi-hat and ride pads, and two 16-inch V-Cymbals, with five shell finishes to choose from, including a new Satin Walnut option.
