The AT8538 from Audio-Technica is an in-line power module designed specifically for use with select A-T lavalier microphones (see below - all sold separately). It's strictly phantom-powered, features a discreet in-line design, includes switchable low-frequency (LF) rolloff, and has an integral XLR3 male output connector.

Made for use only with the following A-T microphones (sold separately):

  • AT831R series
  • U853R(W)
  • U853R(W)U
  • U857R(L)
  • U857R(L)U

Note: it does comes furnished with the U853R, U857R, and PRO35 microphones (sold separately).
