Dual-Door Frame for 24U rack (mounts LFD-series 10U door on top & 14U door on bottom)

The LDDF is an architecturally-appealing dual-door frame that solves the need to separate and secure equipment in a single rack installation. This attractive "boardroom quality" solution for dual-access security features beveled edges and face-mounts to Lowell ganging, floor and wall-mount racks. The steel frame is ordered in the same panel space opening sizes as the rack and is equipped with threaded nutserts to mount two doors (LFD-series, ordered separately) with left or right swing. The LDDF is 1"D with vents and bevels to match Lowell racks. The frame (and specified doors) will be factory-installed when ordered with a rack. They can also be field-installed without drilling or removing prewired equipment.The frame face-mounts using four 10-32 x 5/8" hex washer-head machine screws (included) to the top and bottom factory-mounted nutserts on Lowell racks (typically used to mount door hinges). The frame includes threaded nutserts to mount up to 2 LFD-series doors. Security Bracket (included with frame). A security bracket, which mounts to the top of the bottom door, completes the dual door system. This bracket projects into the rack to within 1/4" of the mounting rails to secure the contents of the bottom section when the top door is open. The bracket will be factory-installed when the frame is ordered with the rack or may be field-installed using two screws. This security bracket may also be field-changed to the bottom of the top door or not used at all, if desired. NOTE: since the bracket extends to within 1/4" of the mounting rails, equipment with protruding knobs may need to be repositioned to avoid the bracket.
