Ideally suited for a broad range of speech and music sound reinforcement applications, the LIVERPOOL TLX215L from Turbosound is a compact passive dual 12" 3,200 Watt bandpass subwoofer that works great in fixed, portable and touring audio systems. It's designed to work in concert with LAKE DSP and LAB GRUPPEN amplification, providing optimal front-of-house (FOH) performance, as well as offer considerable flexibility to adapt readily to varying venue requirements.
The TLX215L features two high excursion 15" low frequency (LF) drivers that utilize proprietary inside-/outside-wound voice coils for higher magnetic density, better heat dissipation, high power handling capacity, and enhanced efficiency. For the units size and operating bandwidth, it delivers extremely high and virtually distortion-free output for world-class LF performance that will stand the test of time.
The highly-efficient, low-distortion bandpass design utilized in the TLX215L reinforces the bass musical instrument frequencies, while steep cut-off slopes ensure an effective acoustic transition for use with TLX84 line array elements.
The cabinet is constructed from 3/4" (18mm) birch plywood, includes a rugged, powder-coated, perforated steel-mesh grille backed with reticulated foam, and is finished in hard-wearing semi-matt black paint. Its rear panel connector plate carries Neutrik speakON® NL4 connectors for input and link connections to additional enclosures. An integral suspension system engineered to meet BGV-C1 specifications is provided for suspending or ground-stacking TLX215L and TLX84 elements with a 10:1 safety factor. Designed for speed and simplicity of use, custom-engineered flybars and wheel boards are available as separate accessories.
