Reloop RMX-22i 2 + 1 Channel DJ Mixer with Onboard Instant FX

The Reloop RMX-22i is a 2 + 1 channel DJ mixer that features integrated Instant Sound Color effects, split input for iOS/Andoid devices, and sports the same high-quality build and sound characteristics as the flagship RMX-80 Digital mixer.

The split input on this mixer makes it so you can connect an iPad, Android tablet, or smartphone directly into your DJ setup via the 1/8" connections on the rear of the RMX-22i. There is even an included split cable with this mixer that is capable of dividing the audio output from your tablet/smartphone into two separate mono channels or it can deliver a single stereo output as well. This connection makes it possible to take advantage of apps with split-cue function – such as DJAY by Algoriddim – to be able to cue up individual tracks for each channel straight from your tablet/smartphone.

The RMX-22i is equipped with four "Instant Sound Color" effects, which as their name implies, provide effects that can be instantly added to a track by pressing their respective buttons – White Noise, Filter, Bit Crush, or Gate – and then turning the Instant FX knob up until you've reached your desired level of effect. Along with the instant effects, each channel also features a 3-band EQ section that can be set to either "Kill" (Isolator Mode) or "Classic" to suit your mixing style.

The line faders and crossfader on this mixer have adjustable curves available so you can toggle between smooth transitions and hard cuts with the flip of a switch. Plus, there is a crossfader reverse and both fader start and crossfader start options available, so no matter what your mixing style is, the RMX-22i has you covered.

The I/O section of this mixer is extensive enough to meet the needs of most DJs with its total of eight inputs and five outputs. Both channels features line- and phono-level RCA inputs, along with the 1/8" split inputs for tablets/smartphones. For the ouptuts, there are both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA master outputs, along with a separate RCA booth output. On the front of the mixer there are 1/4" and 1/8" headphone outputs, along with an XLR-1/4" combo input for connecting a microphone, and an additional 1/8" aux input to connect another mobile device for straightforward music playback. The microphone/aux inputs are on a separate channel from the main two channels of the mixer, with a 2-band EQ that can also be switched between "Kill" and "Classic" EQ modes.
