A compact, cost-effective digital audio interface, the unDUSB from Attero Tech is engineered to bridge host USB devices, like computers, directly into a Dante™ network—all while keeping the audio signals in the digital domain. It enumerates on USB as a standard stereo sound card, and provides 2 channels from Dante to USB, as well as 2 channels from USB to Dante. Since it uses USB audio drivers that are already integrated into Windows and OSX operating systems, no additional drivers are required to be installed. Using this handy device enables any computer program that can make use of a stereo sound card to instantly have access to input and output audio signals on a Dante network. Music, presentation audio, plus audio from collaboration applications like Skype can be used in a Dante system. It can be powered by various means: using compliant 802.3af PoE devices, using +9 VDC to + 24 VDC external supplies, or using the Power Link Output connector of other compatible Attero Tech devices.
