Korg Volca Kick Analog Kick Drum / Bass Sound Synthesizer

The Korg volca kick is an analog kick generator made for sound design that features a wide range of sounds from kick drums to kick basses. The 16-step sequencer includes a new Touch FX feature for immediate control of an effect - an extremely useful tool for live performances.

Korg's volca kick uses a completely analog circuit with the sound of an oscillating filter from the original MS-20. Simple and effective parameters are provided, allowing you to freely design a wide range of kick sounds to your taste. The anaalog drive includes multiple stages of distortion that can be adjusted by a single knob for more variety and power.

Customize your sequences further with the ACCENT, SLIDE, and BEND REVERSE functions. The accent function allows you to program accents per step then control the depth of the added dynamics with the ACCENT knob. The slide function creates the effect of a connection between steps for a smooth kick bass. The bend reverse function can be specified for each step to play the bend backward, reversing the conventional kick pitch from low to high for a more unique sound.
