Ace Backstage 1028BBX 8" Extra Deep Back Box for Full Pocket

ACE Backstage's 1028BBX is an Extra Deep Full Back Box designed for use with ACE's Full Stage Pockets.

ACE Backstage Extra Deep Back Boxes are slightly deeper (8") than their Standard #BBX Series Back Boxes (6") and may be used exclusively with ACE's Full Stage Pockets. The 1028BBX Extra Deep Back Box is welded 14 gauge steel with a protective cover that is discarded when the pocket body is finally installed. The box and cover have a clear zinc corrosion resistant finish. A 1/2" mounting flange is predrilled to mate with the pocket body flange. The pocket body assembly is 4.5" deep and the extra deep back box is 8" deep providing a 3.5" work clearance in the bottom of the back box (ideal for feed thru or distribution junction).

The 1028BBX features a clearance volume (volume between bottom of pocket body and bottom of the extra deep back box) of 338 cubic inches. ACE Extra Deep Back Boxes come with standard Electrical Conduit Combination 1/2", 3/4", 1", and 1-1/4" Knock Outs, four places typical on opposing sides and Electrical Conduit Combination 1/2", 3/4", 1", and 1-1/4" Knock Outs, two places typical on one side.
