The DPA Microphones 4066-OC-A-F34-LH, a member of the DPA 4066 Series, and features an omnidirectional polar pickup pattern. This particular model includes a Mini-Jack adapter for use with Sennheiser Evolution, G2, X2 Digital Wireless transmitters, and it features a MicroDot connector allowing further expansion/versatility with other 3rd-party systems on the market with DPA's flexible adapter system (additional adapters sold separately – refer to the "ACCESSORIES" tab above, or contact your Sales Pro for more information).

With pristine sound quality plus durability, the 4066 Omnidirectional Headset Microphone headset mic has been the choice for broadcasters as well as theaters on Broadway and London's West End. It features unique construction, allowing you to detach the mic boom from the headset mount then reattach it to either the left or right side. And though it's often an issue in theatrical use, humidity is no problem here; it's made with a double-vent protection system and a drop stopper on the mic boom. Plus, the mic's interior materials are also water resistant. The result is a design that makes it very difficult for the microphone to fail due to humidity. In addition, its surface is matte-gold plated and the ear hooks are covered with a silicone hose.

Mic sensitivity is 6 mV/Pa, matching the level of the human voice to the general input sensitivity of most wireless transmitters. If properly powered, this mic will be able to withstand sound pressure levels up to 144 dB SPL before clipping occurs.
