Tailor-made for the Saxophone or various Brass instruments, and built from the ground up to offer smooth frequency response, low noise, and a precise polar pattern, Countryman's I2CS05SR-SKIT includes their I2 instrument mic which features deep nulls along with natural on- and off-axis response. Thanks to its tiny size, it's terrific for distance miking that's virtually invisible on camera. Flexible close-miking techniques are enhanced by Countryman's included Instrument Mount for saxophones, brass and horns—featuring a flexible positioning arm for perfect microphone placement. Also available in an Omnidirectional configuration (sold separately). Additionally, added mounting/positional versatility can be achieved through the use of many other available specifically-designed instrument mounts and clips (sold separately).
