Product Overview

The 4061-OC-C-C10 from DPA Microphones is part of their line of mini mics. Originally designed for use with wireless systems in theater, these are currently one of the most beloved microphones used in television, film, and for close-miked instrument applications as well. It's an omnidirectional microphone that's engineered with less sensitivity, making it well suited for higher sound pressure level (SPL) and hidden applications – mounted on the head or forehead of a theater performer, for example; in this position, the SPL is usually about 10 dB louder than what you might encounter when placed on the chest (lapel microphone). Due to its miniature size, it exhibits an exceedingly accurate omnidirectional pattern and therefore doesn't need to be aimed directly at the sound source to achieve quality pickup. The 4061-OC-C-C10 comes in brown, and has a fixed TA4F Mini-XLR connector - compatible with various Shure wireless systems (wireless systems sold separately).
