DPA KIT-4060-OC-SMK 4060 Stereo Microphone Kit

A cost-effective and versatile stereo recording solution the Stereo Microphone Kit from DPA Microphones is aimed at project studios as well as for discreet on-stage mic setup. It consists of a complete stereo pair: two handpicked omnidirectional condenser microphones, selected on sensitivity within ±1.5 dB.

It's a kit that brings together two (2) DPA 4060 Miniature Omnidirectional Microphones, Normal SPL, with a variety of mounting accessories. This set includes the BLM6000 Boundary Layer Mount, which can be used in concert with DPA's 4060, 4061, 4062, and 4063 miniature mics to position on a reflective boundary such as a wall, floor, ceiling, piano lid, and more to develop a “pressure zone”, and thus allow the mics to capture more of the area's ambient sound. The sound that can be captured from this “pressure zone” has higher sensitivity, clarity, and intelligibility compared to the sound captured from the "free air". This solution provides a sort of acoustical "zoom" function.

Among the many included with this kit is the DMM0007 Universal Surface Mount. This mount enables mounting in the best-sounding position to all kinds of instruments, from acoustic guitar to grand piano and drums, etc. It uses special non-marking adhesive discs for attachment.

DPA's Flexible Adapter System

The available adapters for wireless systems provide you with lots of flexible, simple, and affordable possibilities. No longer are you bound to a single wireless system. As your circumstances change, you can just swap your adapter, rather than incur the cost of a completely new microphone (adapters sold separately). When you make the switch, you won't hear any loss or change in sound quality.

With this system, DPA's miniature microphones will work with all leading wireless mic solutions such as Lectrosonics, Sennheiser, Shure, Sony, Wisycom, Zaxcom, and many more (transmitters sold separately) via DPA Microphones' ingenious adapter system, a one of a kind in the industry.
