Product Overview

DPA Microphones' MMC4018VL is a Linear Vocal Supercardioid Mic Capsule. It's one of several interchangeable capsules designed for use with DPA's handheld mic (sold separately) and features an extremely linear frequency response. It also features side and rear rejection as a supercardioid (just without those tricky rear pickup lobes), combined with a similar front-acceptance angle as a cardioid. Additionally, both on- and off-axis responses are perfectly parallel, while rear rejection is high with no sudden peaks and dips.

Features

  • Extraordinarily natural sound
  • Extreme pop protection
  • Exceptionally high SPL before clipping
  • Best-in-class noise handling
