K1121 is the 22" Medium Thin Ride cymbal from Zildjian's K Constantinople series. It offers plenty of give, texture and "crashability," while singing at a higher pitch. Additionally it features a combination of top articulation and bottom spread that brings forth exceptional stick articulation.
The K Constantinople Series
The pinnacle of Zildjian's cymbal line, the legendary "K Con" is renowned for its remarkably blended, complex hammering sound quality that contributes to its unique sonic identity, along with dark tones that can be simultaneously smooth and cutting. It's fabricated in small batches, hand-lathed by skilled artisans using old-style cutting tools, and employing a 14-step process, resulting in every K Constantinople having its own signature voice. Pits and other surface impurities that modern finishing processes remove, are retained, thus preserving the original tonal quality.
