The BTR-800-E88R UHF synthesized wireless intercom system from Telex offersthe ultimate in reliable, high performance, high fidelity full duplex communications. The BTR-800-E88R system includes the BTR-800-E88R frequency-agile base station, working with up to four (4) TR-800 or TR-825 frequency-agile belt packs, providing full-duplex communications.

This system incorporates two (2) audio channel operation, permitting the belt pack operator to choose between two (2) separate audio channels of communications, with the base station tracking the belt pack selection. This allows the user the flexibility to create a party line and a private line within the same belt pack.

Suitable for standalone operation, the BTR-800-E88R can interface with Audiocom, Two-Wire Intercom, Digital Matrix Intercom systems and other 4-wire communications systems. In addition to the external intercom systems interfaces, the system provides connections for auxiliary balanced audio input and output, as well as WTA (Wireless Talk-Around) and SA (Stage Announce) features.

With this system operating in the UHF range, the units operate reliably at line-of-sight distances of 1,000 feet. The BTR-800 technology operates in TV channels 14 to 36 and 38 to 58. This is the frequency range of 470 to 608 MHz and 614 to 740 MHz. The BTR-800 and BTR-700 frequency bands are 18 MHz wide. Frequency bands A, B, C and E are always base station transmit bands (beltpack receive bands) and frequency bands 2, 4, 6, 88 are base station receive bands (beltpack transmit bands).
