Electro-Voice RE520 Condenser supercardioid vocal microphone

Designed to reveal exceptional detail and vivid clarity, the high-performance condenser supercardioid vocal microphone RE520 from Electro-Voice skillfully delivers the lyrical finesse needed for expressive vocal performers. Providing excellent acoustic isolation, the cardioid pattern allows for comfortable working range around the microphone for easy execution of expressive microphone techniques. Breath blasts and plosives are minimized thanks to the the multi-stage pop filter, consisting of two layers of dense foam separated by air. The high-pass filter is selectable—the flat position delivers the full frequency band pass of the capsule while the high-pass position attenuates frequencies below 150 Hz. RE520 also features an internal shock mount isolating the microphone element from vibration and gaurds against handling noise.
