Shure MXC416 Gooseneck Microphone

Shure's MXC416 and MXC416DF are 16" gooseneck microphones designed for use with all MXC and MXCW series conference and interpreter units. Each microphone includes a cartridge with a cardioid polar pattern, and their frequency response is tailored to improve speech intelligibility and reduce feedback. The microphones are also compatible with Microflex cartridges with other polar patterns.

The MXC416 has a flexible section on the connector end, while the MXC416DF Dualflex offers a flexible section on both the cartridge and connector ends. This flexible gooseneck design allows precise positioning by each speaker.

Other features include a snap-fit foam windscreen that reduces plosives or wind noise, and CommShield® Technology which provides improved immunity to RF noise caused by mobile phones, tablets or similar devices nearby. A two-color LED ring illuminates when the conference unit is active or in request-to-speak mode. This clearly identifies the speaker to other members of the meeting, even under bright lighting.

Both mics are detachable with a 10-pin modular connector. When used with compatible conference units, each can be locked with a hex key to prevent unauthorized removal.
