JBL AC18/95 2x8" 2-Way 90x50 Speaker

JBL presents the AC18/95, a compact, full-range loudspeaker that's engineered to provide maximum SPL and bandwidth—all within a single system package, made to be visually unobtrusive. Its design enables installation in very close proximity to walls and ceilings, making it ideal for installation under balconies, columns, or for wall-mounting. The high frequency unit is a 1" exit compression driver integrated into a 90° x 50° rotatable PT™ (Progressive Transition) waveguide that delivers even coverage throughout the intended listening area. It utilizes an 8" Symmetrical Field Geometry (SFG™) LF Transducer that includes a copper-clad aluminum edge wound 2.5" voice coil plus a copper-capped pole piece that provides enhanced performance through the reduction of voice coil inductance and distortion.

The enclosure is multi-ply hardwood, designed to work mounted in either vertical or horizontal orientation. Mounting points are provided for an optional U-bracket and for an OmniMount® type bracket (both sold separately). It's also equipped with attachment points located on the bottom of the unit for a stand-mount accessory setup. The plywood enclosure features JBL's DuraFlex™ finish and comes with a powder-coated steel, foam-backed grille.
