Kramer VM-8UX 1:8 4K 12G-SDI Distribution Amplifier

Compact and high-performance,the VM-8UX from Kramer is a 1:8 4K distributor for standard broadcast-grade signals of up t0 12G of transmitted data rate. Featuring auto-adapt, VM-8UX automatically adjusts to the data rate of one SDI input signal, equalizes and re−clocks the signal to improve transmitted signal reach, then distributes the signal to two identical SDI outputs. Coaxial broadcast-grade cables connect reliably via lockable BNC connectors for fast, highly professional uncompressed SDI signal distibution deployments without the worry of wire disconnect.

Using Kramer high–quality coaxial SDI cables, Signal reach for Input can be expended up to 300 m (984 ft.) for SD signals; 200 m (656 ft.) for 1.5G HD signals; 100 m (328 ft.) for 3G and 6G HD signals; 80 m (260 ft.) for 12G 4K signals. Designed with a compact DigiTOOLS™ fan–less enclosure, installation is easy for small footprint spaces, over–ceiling mounting, or side–by–side rack mounting. For ease of maintenance and troubleshooting needs, LED status indicators are standard for transmitted SDI data rate of input and output connected signals, and power indication.
