Product Overview
The ATW-3211/893xTH, the Beige-colored twin to the ATW-3211/893x package (Black version - sold separately), consists of an ATW-R3210 receiver with an ATW-T3201 body-pack transmitter plus a BP893xcH-TH MicroSet® headset omni condenser microphone.
- The ATW-R3210 Receiver - Features automatic frequency scanning which eliminates the need for manual searching for clear channels, automatically selecting the most appropriate frequency for the systems operating area. The system's 25 kHz frequency spacing enables it to easily find an open frequency in crowded RF environments, while pre-coordinated frequency scan groups simplify selection of usable frequencies in a multichannel wireless system. Once selected, frequencies can be synced with transmitters using the system’s IR sync functionality. The system’s squelch setting can be configured to automatically adjust to maximize range while minimizing potential interference. Advanced digital Tone Lock™ squelch provides enhanced rejection of interference. In addition, the Tone Lock signal from the transmitter also conveys information on the transmitter’s battery condition and mute status back to the receiver for display. The receiver’s dual-mode front panel display can switch between the standard view, which provides continuous indication of RF signal strength, frequency, mute status, audio modulation level of the received signal, and transmitter information, and a performance view, which highlights key metering. Settings can be easily adjusted using the control dial and BACK button located on the receiver’s front panel. Settings are lockable to prevent unwanted changes.
- ATW-T3201 Body-pack Transmitter - Comes with a defeatable mute toggle switch which is tactile, allowing for physical confirmation of the mute status when the transmitter display is not visible. It has a multifunction button — also defeatable — that can be programmed to perform one of two functions when pressed and held: (1) turn off RF transmission or (2) switch to a preselected backup frequency to avoid interference. The transmitter has an available input for low-impedance microphone, high-impedance musical instrument or line input. It supplies 5 VDC bias, providing power for condenser microphones. The unit's rugged cH-style screw-down 4-pin input connector provides secure connection to the included BP892xcH-TH mic, as well as other cH-style lavalier mics, headworn mics, and cables (additional models sold separately). The durable metal body-pack transmitter also comes equipped with a field-replaceable whip antenna, OLED screen, and a secure, locking battery compartment door. Additionally, it has charging terminals that work with the ATW-CHG3 and networkable ATW-CHG3N smart charging docks (sold separately) intended to recharge NiMH batteries while they're still housed within the unit.
- BP893xcH-TH ("THeater" colored) - Thanks to its ergonomically-molded earpiece and extremely unobtrusive 0.2" boom, this high-SPL (sound pressure level) microphone unit provides you with inconspicuous positioning options along with clear and natural vocal pickup. Its lightweight low-profile design makes it ideal for use by stage and television talent, lecturers, worship leaders, and more. For maximum comfort and stability, it includes the AT8464x dual-ear adapter kit which converts the MicroSet to a dual-ear-worn configuration. It's designed to hook around the back of either ear with the boom extending out from below the ear for discreet placement. It features an omnidirectional miniature condenser capsule that offers outstanding pickup that's tailored for natural vocal reproduction. Engineered to withstand the rigors of day-to-day use, it comes supplied with a detachable, field-replaceable cable with a robust connector at the earset and, in this particular case, a screw-down 4-pin connector for use with Audio-Technica wireless systems that have a cH-style connector.
