Aston Microphones Halo Reflection Filter

Much bigger than other portable acoustic booths, the Aston Halo's unique design creates a more ‘organic-feeling’ space for performers to work with. This lightweight felt reflection filter represents a giant leap forward for Isolation, absorption, mounting hardware and overall performance as a studio tool for achieving portable room control.

The Halo wraps around top and bottom to a maximum rear depth of almost 100 mm to improve room isolation and absorption without dominating the room sound. In addition, its textured and wave-formed surface helps diffuse direct sound, and the 'easy-mount' hardware allows fast, stable and easy set up on mic stands.

Available in purple or black, the reflection filter is constructed from patented PET felt and carefully engineered hardware components. PET felt is one of the most lightweight and efficient, technical acoustic products available on the global market today, making it ideal for use in a reflection filter. And since the acoustic felt which makes up most of the sound absorption field is made from 70% recycled PET plastic, this highly technical product is also very environmentally friendly.
