AJA IPT-10G2-HDMI HDMI to SMPTE ST 2110 Video and Audio IP Encoder

AJA's IPT-10G2-HDMI Mini-Converter is designed to bridge HDMI HD signals to a SMPTE ST 2110 network. The IPT-10G2-HDMI receives baseband video plus 8 embedded audio channels on a full-size HDMI 1.4b interface, then formats the data for output as SMPTE ST 2110 over 10 GigE. It transmits HD SMPTE ST 2110 over 10 GigE connectivity from a full-size HDMI interface. Associated audio from the video stream is extracted, synchronized, and embedded into the HDMI interface and also provides two channels of audio input.

The IPT-10G2-HDMI features 2x 10 GigE SFP+ cages allowing “hitless switching”, providing redundancy protection for critical distribution and monitoring applications. This AJA Mini-Converter is rugged, fanless, and the IPT-10G2-HDMI design is ideal for placement in a wide range of scenarios, including on set, and in studios.
