The Marantz Sound Shield is a versatile and portable vocal reflection filter compact enough to use in any studio space that suffers from acoustic distraction when recording dialog. Keeping reflections and frequency abnormalities from being captured when recording speech or singing is a must, and the Sound Shield's five absorptive surfaces on top of high-density foam provide you with a way to do just that. The Shield can be placed on a tabletop or mounted on a stand and can be custom shaped around the microphone to account for acoustic variations between rooms. The end result will be sharper, more focused, more natural-sounding vocal recordings.
