Simply connect your compatible Roland trigger pads or your RT-series triggers to the TM-1 where you can then alter the sounds using its onboard kick, snare, tom, cymbal, and percussion samples—or create your own samples and loops! Thanks to a free editor app for Mac/Windows and iOS/Android, making and integrating your own sounds has never been simpler.

The battery- or AC-powered TM-1 is easily controlled by your foot via the built-in switches, so you never need to stop playing. You can even mute the module with a foot press, allowing you to alternate between a true acoustic sound in the verses and a beefed-up hybrid sound in the choruses.
