The Line 6 POD was released in 1998 and quickly became synonymous with guitar modeling, it's never relinquished that status.
The POD Go is the next step in that evolution. Drawing on the rich history of the pod, the Go delivers powerful amp, cabinet, and effects modeling in a rugged and compact pedalboard design.
Loaded with modern and classic amps that are accessible via a user-friendly interface with a 4.3" color LCD screen, POD Go allows you to mix and match to create any number of desired rigs. You wouldn't have the room or the money to house all this gear, but it's all here, tweakable, saveable, and recallable. Add stompboxes, re-arrange the signal path, any way you want it, you have total control. Plus, there's an expression pedal included that provides control over volume, wah, or almost any combination of parameters, so express yourself.
Four bright color-coded footswitches provide at-a-glance assignment confirmation on even the darkest stages. The Go splits assignments into two modes. Assign presets to one mode, stomp-boxes to the other, and you can instantly switch between them with the mode switch. The up/down bank switches allow you to move through banks in sync with your setlist. Speaking of sync.....your delay will never be out because Go has a TAP switch so you can match song tempo. But for any of this to be impressive, you need to be in tune. Simply press and hold the TAP switch to activate the onboard tuner, then drop back in before the verse is over.. Line 6 included the free POD Go Edit app so you can easily create presets, adjust settings, and load impulse responses using your computer or mobile device.
Flexible outputs let you run POD Go through a traditional amp or take it direct for input to powered speakers, a recording console, or a live mix desk in mono or stereo. Your favorite outboard gear is also welcome because POD Go features an assignable stereo effects loop, so dust off that space echo. It wouldn't be a POD if you couldn't simply dunk your head into all of this tonal goodness, so of course, it comes equipped with a headphone output.
You're a guitar player, you're obsessed with tone and you know perfection is out there, you just need to find it. POD Go, enjoy the journey.
